ROCKY NECK FISH COMPANY’S YEAR-ROUND SPECIALITES
While we can source from our fishing partners any kind of seafood you’re craving all year long, we have a few favorites: Tuna, shellfish, lobster, and white fish. We can also offer tips about how to prepare anything in our coolers. Pre-ordering for curbside pickup is available at all of our retail locations.
SPRING
Ask our experienced staff for recipe ideas to use versatile and mild fish like hake, halibut, and sole. We offer sustainable alternatives to mix things up from cod and haddock.
WINTER
From wild-caught North Atlantic dayboat scallops to clams, mussels, and oysters, we have all the shellfish you love—including the holiday-season delicacy Nantucket Bay scallops.
SUMMER
We source premium and sustainable Gulf Coast yellowfin tuna year-round. In the summer, we are on Cape Cod every day and get the best access to the prized bluefin coming in from the Atlantic.
FALL
It doesn’t get much better than Cape Cod lobsters, large and tender and available from May through December.
MEET OUR FISHING PARTNERS
FV America
Boston, MA
Rocky Neck Fish Company’s neighbor on the Boston Fish Pier, Atlantic Coast Seafood owner Tory Bramante not only captains his own vessels, including the 28-foot trawler America, but his company also offloads for other boats coming into port. Bramante sources for us many favorites, including Atlantic cod, pollock, haddock, striper, flounder, and hake.
Cotuit Oyster Company
Cotuit, MA
Clean water from Nantucket Sound mixes with the freshwater streams, marshes, and estuaries around this 150-year-old oyster farm to produce uniquely briny, sweet oysters. Current owner Chris Gargiulo took over operations in 2004 and is one of Rocky Neck Fish Company’s original suppliers.
FV Time Bandit
Chatham, MA
This open-stern vessel allows Captain Kurt Martin to easily slide his lobster traps into the water. Along with premium Cape Cod lobster, we also source black sea bass from Martin.
FV Donna Marie
Provincetown, MA
This 60-foot steel dragger was built in Florida and used as a shrimper for decades, until Captain Chris King purchased her in 2008 and upgraded her to be used in Cape Cod waters 10 months of the year. Rocky Neck Fish Company buys King’s plump dayboat sea scallops from May through Labor Day.
